Laser Hair Removal
Excessive hair growth may arise from many causes. Whether for hygienic or cosmetic reasons, many welcome laser hair removal rather than other temporary methods which do not provide long-lasting benefits. LightSheer hair removal produces beams of light that are attracted to the pigment in actively growing hair. The light travels down the hair shaft and destroys the follicle, after which the hair will fall out within a couple of weeks. Any area of the body can be treated, as can any skin color. Men particulary benefit from these treatments as a solution to ingrown hairs or "razor rash" and for hair removal on their backs. Since hair growth is in an active growing phase at different times, more than one treatment scheduled four to six weeks apart is needed to achieve desired results. A slight redness may appear after treatment, which quickly subsides.
Treatment of Spider Veins
Spider veins can be treated with Sclerotherapy or Laser. Sclerotherapy involves tiny injections administered by a physician directly into the spider veins. Laser therapy involves treatment with our Yag Laser in which the laser beam is attracted by the color of the vein. The vein clots and is absorbed by the body. More than one treatment may be needed to acheive desired results. After a treatment session, normal activities may be resumed.
Photorejuvenation
Also known as a Fotofacial or a Laser Facial, Photorejuvenation is a non-surgical treatment that improves the skin tone and texture of the face with the use of Intense Pulsed Light, or IPL. IPL is not a laser, though acts as one, producing light of a broad spectrum which enable it to remove a variety of discolored skin lesions, including excess blood vessels(capillaries), brown age spots and sun damage. Photorejuvenation is one of the most effective treatments for facial redness due to rosacea. The IPL also stimulates the skin to produce more collagen, causing wrinkles to become smoother and pores to become smaller. In addition to the face, the neck and upper chest areas can also be treated as well as the hands. Multiple treatments are necessary to achieve the best results, though improvement of brown spots and capillaries can be seen after one treatment. There is no down time after a treatment, though you may experience a temporary redness that will fade within hours.
